Bauernwirt - Réserver une table

Having dinner at the Bauernwirt was probably the best meal I have had in the last 5 years, if not in my life. The dishes were simple, traditional and yet tasteful and rich. Even the simplest broth seemed straight from heaven, light, full of flavours. We had rich cheese spätzle and simple trout that were beyond expectations, again, simple but tasteful, home made and fresh. Just like your grandmother would have cooked them, but better. The best part of the meal were the dessert, with a tiramisu with red berries that was light and creamy, with subtle notes and a cloud-like texture. Another great pastry was an apricot tart, sweet, melting in your mouth... I still feel the delights we experienced...

Bauernwirt has great recommendations on the Gluten-free in Graz FB page. We visited and our celiacs enjoyed the Schnitzel, though not as much as Gasthaus zur Linde, our favorite. Me and my wife came to this restaurant on a typical weekend. Our order was taken quickly and our drinks arrived swiftly. Unfortuntaley we waited around 45 minutes for our food to come. To appologise for the service the restaurant brought a salad to tide us over. The wait although very long was worthwhile as the food was great.

We came here for dinner and I had beef it was only average quality. The side dishes were also not too exciting. However the outdoor seating is really nice in the summer. Nevertheless it seems to be one of the better Wirtshaus here in the area the other ones are even worse.

Great restaurant with lovely atmosphere both inside and outdoors. My family loved the art sketches around the restaurant.
