This was my first stop coming into Zurich on a Friday. After walking the old town, my friends and I decided it was time for some beer and food. We found ourselves a table with some shade near the water and got a round of beers. I can't recall which beer I selected, but anything was welcome after the traveling from the states I had just done. With the help of my brew I decided to try the Cordon Bleu. It came out a while later on our next round of drinks accompanied by some fries. It was pretty basic looking, but it had a great taste and was a good entry to Swiss food. Payment in advance including tip for service not provided, as only food and drinks are delivered to the table, which you ordered yourself online without advice. Tellertaxi only speaks English in Zurich? Zürcherschnetzeltes 42.00 francs... small portion, meat was good, sauce was too salty... Cheeseburger 32.00 francs and completely bland and tasteless... Bratwurst 15.00 francs was a bratwurst with mustard, you can't go wrong! Ambience, right on the water, couldn't be better, furnishings well chairs and tables : D

Can’t order from kitchen because “kitchen closed”, but can order from Take-Away counter, except the VERY limited menu is mostly out of stock- including wurst and fries- two local staples?! Staff were rude, and the food was horrible to say the least. Such a shame as the location is fantastic and the terrace has a great vibe. Avoid at all costs.

Nice location but bad food. ZÜRICH prices. Always a scrum at the self service counter. It’s a lovely beer garden though and of you’re lucky you can watch the pensioners dance the tango. Great to meet friends for a beer after work.
What a great place to spot and relax and take in the views. The prices are a little high but not much more than a few blocks away. Great atmosphere. Good service. Definitely recommend.
Surrounded by water with great views, food is great and can be ordered by smartphone only. Add a quick or Long stop when visiting the city to relax.
Excellent location overlooking the lake. Nice and warm sausage to go well with the rainy day but bread was dry and stale.
