Was almost driven away by the bad reviews but I was instead left very confused about all the 1 stars. People don't seem to understand good german food and realize how hard it must have been on this restaurant during Covid. I came Saturday night and there were only 2 other couples there. The reviews warned me of unfriendly staff but the staff was incredibly sweet if you had the decency to be polite to them. Food was extraordinary. Had an absolutely amazing meal here! Service was kind and funny, food was super delicious and authentic. Really great gluten free options (schnitzel, spätzle, strudel, dinner rolls, soup, etc. and non-GF food was great too. Best German restaurant I’ve ever been to (besides my mom’s house haha .
Great authentic German food! Have been here multiple times and always enjoy the food. They are great with gluten free diners. They have a separate gluten free menu which includes gluten free bread/biscuits, sauces, spatzle, and strudel for dessert. I will definitely keep coming back.
The owner is from Germany, and you can tell, she can cook.She is a little grouchy, but some Germans are like that, so don't be offended.The food is outstanding.I definitely will come back if I am in the area

Amazing family owned German restaurant. It's also the only one I know of that offers a huge gluten free menu, from strudel to desserts. We make out way here from the city as often as we can.
The food and service was very good. I have leftovers enough for 2 meals. The tomato cucumber salad, with beets and 3 bean salad was refreshing, especially on a cold January day.
Went here because the husband had a hankering for Schnitzel. Food was delicious, and the staff was awesome. The schnitzel was “very correct” as the husband likes to say
