"We went there for a Sunday Lunch with our son and partner. We were very happy with the food and drinks, Prices were not too high. Staff and the Owner were helpful and very nice. We didn't have to wait long for our food and everything was delicious. I couldn't fill any more in, so I have to go back for the blackforest cake. It looked yummy."

Our friend booked for her birthday dinner, there was ten of us so it was going to be a challenge. It was BYO wine which was just as well as the non-wine drinkers waited some time for a drink and that was only after one of the party went to get someone. The menu has a good selection and would cover for most folk, we ordered deep fried Camembert for starters and Vienna Schnitzel for mains, the rest of the party ordered various selections such as Leberkese (Bavarian meatloaf), Steak Madagascar and Pork Knuckle to mention a few. The Bavarian Blue Restaurant is a well-known German Restaurant and is located at 387 Main Road, Wellington Point. The Restaurant has a lovely German / Bavarian atmosphere and they serve high quality traditional German food as well as a good selection of German beers and wines. Bavarian Blue is open Tuesday to Sunday from 5 till late, lunch is served Saturday and Sundays only from 11.30am to 3pm. If you are looking for quality German food we certainly would recommend the Bavarian Blue Restaurant. We have been here many times and have never been disappointed, will be back next time we are in the area. Margaret and Klaus
This is a delightful little restaurant in Wellington Point.If you didn't know it was there it could be easily missed.We went here over 10 years ago so decided to try it again.Certainly gives a good example of German style food.The food was OK - probably not as good as our last visit but acceptable all the same.Service was OK - hate to see what it would be like if the restaurant was busy - acceptable once again.We will try to come again before another 10 years have elapsed.
Very disappointing. Table was very sticky! I ordered a pork knuckle. It was so disappointing. No crackling at all - it was just a stewed pork bone. Sourkraut was average. Husband ordered chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce - very average. Redeeming factor was the staff were nice but sorry the food we had was average and when I asked about the crackling we got no response. Not good for business
