Food was great. Price was not. Price was the same as Canadian prices if not more, but I’m paying almost 30% currency conversion. It was $15 for 5 large shrimp that weren’t that large as an example. The gentleman that served us rolled his eyes and walked away without saying anything when I asked for gravy with my fries. Sorry I forgot that Americans don’t know what gravy is. We had an excellent experience at Bay Breeze, thanks to the outstanding service and fresh seafood. The steamed clams in a smoked pepper garlic white wine sauce and the Sriracha prawns were both fantastic, paired perfectly with delicious toasted sourdough. During our month-long stay in the Blaine/Semiahmoo area this summer, we found ourselves coming back to Bay Breeze two to three times a week. We just couldn't get enough! Stasha always made us feel welcome, providing excellent drinks and attentive service.
Beautiful view and kitchen staff is always on point and I've enjoyed several sandwhiches, pasta and salads. Only issue is service side. Of the five times I've tried Bay Breeze it's difficult just getting acknowledged that I'm at the front. Most recent visit the service staff walked by 28 times and made eye contact 19 of those times without even acknowledging I was there. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5
The food here is outstanding – in fact, it’s the best fish and chips you’ll find in the area. A visit to Birch Bay isn’t complete without trying it! For takeout dinner, the price per person is around $10–20. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a solid 4, and the atmosphere a delightful 5. I highly recommend the Fried Shrimp, Fish and Chips, Fries, and Salad.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time enjoying dinner and drinks on the patio! The service was excellent, and the food was just as impressive. The view of the beach truly elevates the experience, and the waitstaff strikes the perfect balance between attentiveness and privacy. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant!
The food was excellent overall. My wings were juicy and delicious, and my drinks were perfectly balanced. My daughter enjoyed all her dishes, and my boyfriend's calamari was fresh and served in a generous portion. However, I felt the ambiance of the restaurant could be improved, though the view of the bay was stunning!

As for kid-friendliness, there was a family with several children seated near us, so it seems to be a suitable spot for kids. I overheard that they provide crayons and an activity page for coloring.
