New to Indian cuisine and I have been craving it the past year. This is my first time at this restaurant. I was very happy with the amazing/ abundant food. We went for lunch and had the Jahli Jahli lunch options, Tiki Masala. Naan, basmati rice, tiki masala, sauces, a small honey soaked ball (looks like a donut circle), yoghurt was included. I couldn't finish my meal. It was delicious. The waiter was helpful but iffy about knowledge of the menu options. Since I am not knowledgeable of Indian cuisine, we wanted some Saag (Spinach dish) as a side just to share and taste test. The restaurant does not have side item options. This was my first time trying Indian cuisine, so I was a little nervous. The restaurant smells fantastic, of garlic and spices and is probably the cleanest place I've ever eaten! I let my server know it was our first time and she was really helpful in suggesting dishes to try. We got the chicken Tikka masala, the lamb vindaloo, and the tandoori chicken. She asked what spice level we were comfortable with, medium is good. I was so pleasantly surprised. Everything was fantastic, rich and flavorful and not too spicy. The naan was hot and buttery and perfect. I can't wait to go back and try something new!
Great find, dishes we amazing...definitely a strong focus on quality food and presentation! Only problem here is we don't live in Birmingham...we were passing thru! We'll be back!!
Show your customer a bit of enthusiasm the support and business they bring you, don't have a facial expression as if paying customers are a Nuisance to you

We had a party of six. It was not crowded at 5 o’clock so it was nice. Service was a bit slow but the food was great!
We had a few cocktails and several apps and entrees. Everything was great! Would definitely recommend.
Everything was delicious, and the staff were so kind and attentive. We had a great experience!
Bay Leaf serves up incredible food, in a very nice atmosphere classy, yet not too fancy.
