Took my mother-in-law here for lunch and was just about to get up and leave as no one had approached our table after 20 minutes sitting there ( beer garden). Once served, the food and drink arrived quickly, in fact too quickly. My grilled Turkey steaks were tasteless and shared a plate with a limp salad. My mother-in-law had milzwurst (a type of deep fried sliced sausage) which looked greasy but she found it ok. The waitress was unfriendly and failed to make eye contact which made communication difficult.Although I lived in Straubing 15 years ago, I was never in this restaurant because my husband would not go in. I always wanted to try it because the beer garden is always busy in the summert...

Since the leaseholder has changed, this is no longer a typical Bavarian restaurant. We like coulered and foreign people, but do not expect them disguised with leather trousers in a Bavarian restaurant. Additional the servants are not very obliging and the foreign kitchenstaff is not able to produce good local dishes as offered - The "Gröstel" and the "Kalbsrahmbraten" : disastrous.
we were 2 nights in the layer and 2x eating there. it was very delicious. is served quickly. the beer garden is welcoming and the service super!!!(Wiesn oper) reacted on hand signs (2 cuts) the great wetin petra pampered us with guaddies (living cake heart and chocolate strawberries) welcomed the hearts of the Tuesday with which we 4 well entertained. we will be coming back

very beautiful beer garden! excellent staff and very friendly, even if the beer garden is full! very nice and competent wetin! Price/Performance of the hammer! all dishes very tasty and hungry they don't get away from there! all good and many thanks for the great hospitality!
