What a little hiding place along the bay. Fun little ride just to reach this tiny spot. The building itself is nothing really to see. You can say it was a former summer house converted into a bar and barbecue that... well, really adds its charm to be honest. I mean, you can almost feel the American entrepreneurship in the air. We were greeted by a friendly and really polite staff who quickly used us. We were just a party of two. The seating is usually the one of picnic tables that are fun, Bayside and watch the boats by. If there's something negative to say about the view that maybe the docks should be rebuilt, looks like they're falling in. The atmosphere is peaceful as most customers murmur among themselves. But unfortunately we didn't just come because of the view that we're eating! Sooo. My friend and I thought the grill smells wonderful and choice mouth water; but the prices were a bit too high for what we wanted to spend on Monday evening for a quick bite. Don't stop trying. I can't vouch for the taste, but the smell was fantastic. We both ordered the chicken breast sandwich that I have to say is one of the better if not the best chicken breast sandwich in the city. The marinade was great and the chef grilled it perfectly. The emperor roll was fresh and soft as it should be, and the salad is crisp and well prepped. I even made my way to the kitchen to tell the cook what he did with the sandwiches. The frits are great when you enjoy crispy pumice. (I do!) Pretty sure they use Lamb Weston for you hardcore foodies out there. So everything in all great place for a quiet but not so lonely escape along a beautiful shore.
