BB Papi employee: Here’s your taco... Is there anything else I can get for you, sir? Me: Excuse me, but I didn’t order an amuse-bouche... While the tacos at BB Papi are decent, I don’t find them worth the price tag of $3.75 to $4.95 each, especially considering their size. It seems like most of the clientele might be living off trust funds, perhaps the grandchildren of the people who made the 'Billy Bass' wall decoration famous in man caves. However, for the rest of us regular folks, I think we should expect a bit more value for our money.
I was shocked when he said $18.70 for a burrito and chips &dip. And totaled $21 with a soda. Not one person standing in lobby and he said 20 min wait. Ouch...Then the guy says they have deliverys.Oh that explanes it. Priority for for delivery and I wait. Really!.The actual wait time was over 30min.Didnt get chips.Back to taco bell and big 3 peice meal with soda $10.
I absolutely loved the la pastor taco!! Very delicious : hubs wasn't super impressed with the brisket burrito but our 13yr old enjoyed the chipotle chicken burrito. The kids tacos were a bit too spicy for my 4 and 6 yr old but they did eat half of them : crazy rice was also very good!
