Beach Bar - Réserver une table

Wow! We dropped in on passing thinking we would just see what it was like. The door was opened by the host (and his golden retriever) and we were the only people in there, but there was a real log fire going, great big comfy seats, and we were soon made to feel very welcome. You can see the sea on both sides of the peninsula which is really cool, and there were kite surfers enjoying the stiff breeze, whilst we were in the warm ordering food and drinking beer! The owners children also came and had a play with our little boy which gave us the chance to mooch around the very cool shop which also occupies the same space. I could have spent a fortune on some cool tops or bags etc, but decided lun...

During our holiday at the end of July we cycled to the Beach Bar as we have several times previously. We were seated orders taken and sat back to enjoy the view but were then asked to move tables as someone else wanted our table! The owner who out of season is friendly couldn't give a damn and made no effort to apologise so we left. The owner only wants your money and not repeat custom (We have a second home nearby) so travel a little further to Port Orange where there are several better alternative restaurants with better and not rude grabbing service.

Nous étions tellement heureux d'avoir découvert cet endroit après une après-midi à la plage. Enfin un endroit où les familles avec de jeunes enfants peuvent profiter d'un délicieux repas avant 19h, lorsque la plupart des restaurants ouvrent. Excellentes huîtres et gambas pour les parents et délicieux fish and chips pour les enfants. Service sympathique, ambiance agréable et beaucoup d'espace dans la zone extérieure pour que les enfants puissent se promener en attendant la nourriture.

We came across this restaurant after surfing on a near by beach. We had planned to only stop for an drink as we don’t realise they did food as well. There was great hospitality by the owner and with 4 very hot kids with us he was very engaging, showing them the lobsters and also a volleyball court for them to play on if they wanted to. A very enjoyable experience with great food and service!

Great place to work, have coffee and a snack with a lovely view of the beach and sea. Owner was super friendly and a great little shop to look around. Surf shack vibe and great place to sit when the weather isn't so great.
