It’s such a delight to have an authentic bakery with delicious, freshly made treats to indulge in! Whenever I'm in town, this place is my preferred breakfast spot. And judging by the line out the door, I’m not the only one. The wait is definitely worth it for a tasty breakfast sandwich or a freshly baked pastry or muffin paired with a cup of coffee. My only drawback is the impatience and occasional rudeness of some customers towards the hardworking staff. I really appreciate the friendly atmosphere!
I placed my order with hardly any line in front of me, yet I ended up waiting about 40 minutes for two bagel sandwiches to go. During that time, I noticed the teenagers working there completely ignored me, so I eventually asked one of them to check on my order since I had been waiting for quite a while. They informed me that my order would be next, but I then saw about five more orders go out before I finally received mine. I suggest they have a manager or someone to oversee the situation.
Gosh, this is my favorite place for breakfast food like bagels, muffins, etc. It?s actually a bakery that bakes things. The muffins, scones, cinnamon buns are all fresh and are all amazing. The drip coffee is good. My only wish is that that had espresso drinks to complement the amazing baked goods. I visited this place while in Bethany. I'd like to politely invite this place to require more training in customer service. While the food was fantastic, customer service was terrible . I don't ask for much. But the following needs to be addressed as I will not be returning. 1. The front counter was unprofessional. Their demeanor was unfriendly. And very clumsy. Wear gloves ladies. Correct me if im wrong, but this girl had one thing to do for me. Ring up a sandwich and a Réservez une table maintenant
Unbelievable how slow the service is. Took over 45 minutes for two bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches and not a massive line of patrons to warrant the delays. Was told they didn?t have iced coffee by one person while other people were able to purchase. Staff is more interested in talking to their friends than doing their jobs. Wildly inefficient it was almost comical. Sandwich was definitely not worth the wait.
The food here is absolutely delicious; I particularly love the muffins, scones, and sandwiches. However, I gave it four stars instead of five because the cashier told me it would be a 20-minute wait, but I ended up waiting over an hour for two sandwiches. It's a fantastic place, but be prepared for potentially long wait times if you decide to visit, as that's been my experience each time I've gone.
This is the perfect spot for breakfast and lunch! The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff is incredibly sweet and friendly. On busy days or during peak hours, it may take 10 to 15 minutes for your meal to be prepared, but the incredible flavor makes every moment worth it! If you're in Bethany, DE, make sure to visit The Bakrie—you won't regret it!
