We arrived with the idea of having an aperitif and then deciding whether to have dinner there. Since we didn't book, they gave us a table at the back, but wanting only to have an aperitif we asked to have one on the sand, also at the back in front of the music box which, in my opinion, for aperitif time was too high: I advise the staff to ask customers if they are dining or just stopping for an aperitif and in the latter case to suggest the beach because the location is so beautiful that it conquers on its own. At the table the waiter comes after 12 minutes of us being seated, without a card so I guess you have to know for yourself what they offer. We then ask for the paper and the cleaning...
The Seven Group has once again outdone itself! There has never been anything so cool in Ascona! You feel like you're at the sea all in one Beach club like you know it from St Tropez, Ibiza or Tulum! This great area with the sand facing the lake and the beautiful, chic loungers and cabanas, dreamily spread out in front of Lake Maggiore, you just have to enjoy! And first of all, the restaurant, which is absolutely amazing, is definitely worth visiting at lunchtime and chilling out on the loungers in between, before continuing in the evening with live music and the next delicacies from the exclusive Seven kitchen. after some years of mediocrity, the delta beach lounge is again great. the interieur is renovated, very tastefully modern, but comfortable and outside is better than ever. complement that with very friendly and competent staff, an excellent barista and pleasant lounge music,...and the bases for a great evening. then add the excellent kitchen to the mix and they can not go wrong here. everything is still very casual from the manager to the last server the atmosphere is from calm excellent. our server (mary) has also made a good job in some of the best hotels worldwide (Shangri-La in singapur, four seasons in sydney, kahala resort in honolulu and much more). she was a highlight of an otherwise...
Nicht mehr geeignet für ein schönes Dinner. Vom Lido dröhnte ein lautes Konzert auf die Terrasse. Wir hatten reserviert, der Tisch war nicht parat. Der Service war nicht präsent und nach 20 Minuten haben wir das Lokal verlassen. Die ganze Terrasse ist schmutzig, das Mobiliar erneuerungswürdig und vom einstigen schönen Ambiente der Delta Lounge blieb nichts aber auch gar nichts mehr übrig. Wir gehen da nicht mehr hin. Die Lounge war einst ein feines Restaurant mit kombinierter Bar. Das Essen ist zwar ok, steht aber definitiv nicht mehr im Vordergrund. Im Hauptraum stehen keine Tische mehr, da ab 20h ein DJ Salsa-Musik auflegt und drei Paare dazu tanzen. Eine Lounge ist das nicht mehr. Es ist auch keine Bar und kein Restaurant. So hat die Lounge keine Zukunft, leider.
Wir waren letzte Woche in diesem Restaurant/Bar und ich muss sagen wir waren Positiv überrascht vom feinen Essen , Trinken und super Service , Preisleistung Stimmt auf jedenfall , es ist ein lässiges Lokal mit guter Music , Unbedingt den Spiess bestellen super Überraschung
