We were staying in the Crystal Lodge above the pub so we didn’t have far to walk. The pub doesn’t take reservations and you may have to wait for a table.We were given a table on the patio and ordered some drinks. This place is great for a casual dinner so we ordered 2 sharing plates (chicken wings and chicken pesto flatbread) to eat before ordering 2 more (battered fries and chicken quesadilla).We visited on a Wednesday in mid-July and it was busy. Eh, it was just ok. My wife and I both had the Fish Chips (hers was the kids portion), a Pepsi, and a D Pepsi. After tip, came to CA$57. Was def not worth the price. The fish had a very tough crust on it. The taste was just ok. The fries were thick cut and, again, just ok.Advice: if you’re going to get the fish chips but don’t care for coleslaw, get the kids portion cuz it’s the EXACT same portions but without the coleslaw and it’s $4.50 less!Also, the place is VERY small so reservations are recommended during the busy ski season. We were here in late October and it was dead.
