As soon as I walked in I was struck by the high humidity and strong smell of kitchen exhausts, especially bacon. By the time I left, my clothes were saturated with a very unpleasant scent that lingered all day. This is not normal. Curious if you’ve ever had this feed back. Everyone who recommended you to me admitted that their visit was in the summer when the patio doors were wide open. I suggest seriously considering improving your climate control situation as it really ruined the vibe of what was otherwise a really beautiful space. Pork belly was underwhelming; bland and flavorless. The greens in the accompanying salad were some of the most lush and crisp I’ve ever had.

I had intentions of going to Blue Fox Cafe but once I saw the huge line, I wandered down the road and stumbled across Bear and Joey (a welcome reminder of my Aussie home! . The food was delicious (I had the smashed avo with prosciutto , a yum juice, and a masala chai. Aside from the tasty food the staff were so lovely and friendly! One waitress gave me a great book recommendation, and she just had a great energy you could tell she loved her colleagues and her workplace.

Wanted to check someplace different out for breakfast when I was in Victoria for work. I don't normally go for French Toast but I had to try the lavender almonds (made in house btw).I also really appreciated the non-alcoholic beverage options. I went for a Virgin Aperol Spritz (they also had Virgin Mimosas).Dined by myself, it wasn't weird, was served wonderfully and enjoyed my meal.

It's a nice place with tasty, healthier seeming food. I do wish they had just a few more options on the menu though. Be aware, they don't make their own drinks here, but the bottled/caned ones they do use are still pretty good.Vegetarian options: Most of the meals do not come with meat, so I think this is likely a friendly place for vegetarians.

I would recommend making a reservation, if possible, as this place is very busy. The food was delicious and flavourful. The highlight was definitely the French toast.Vegetarian options: Many options for vegetarianKid-friendliness: Kids menu is limited but availableWheelchair accessibility: Spacious venue, no stairs.

My 1st visit was very eventful I was locked in their bathroom til the Fire Dept rescued me. They showed genuine concern, and gave me a gratuity as a customer appreciation. Once I was able to enjoy the coffee and muffin I ordered very savory tasty. I'll be back?

Lovely little restaurant that serves mainly brunch dishes. It's at a nice location a little bit further away from the busy side of town. Anything with their pork belly is delicious.
