Great food! Great service! Two of us had the salmon which came with a spinach rice and perfectly cooked fresh green beans. The salmon portions were big and delicious. The other three in our group got the chicken fried steak with gravy garlic mashed potatoes. Large steaks and the gravy was terrific they said. All five of these entrees came with a small starter salad of baby greens, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cucumber and homemade croutons. Delicious! My husband ordered the chicken caeser salad for his entree. It was big and very good he said. I got the bourbon bread pudding for dessert to go and it was fantastic. Bear trap Grille will take you back in time with its' relaxed and friendly ambient. Located in the center of the quaint town of Ennis Montana; it renders a simple American traditional menu. Angus Burgers are distinct and fresh. Crispy hot fries and tender fresh pasta pleasing to the taste buds. Wine or beer may be ordered at the adjacent bar and brought in. We just had the best dinner in a very long time!!! My husband ordered the pork chop special (I ate half : it was soooo good and I ordered the chicken penne pasta with a very tasty mushroom cream sauce and the garlic toast was delicious! My husband also liked the house made ranch dressing on the salad. To finish the meal we ordered the bread pudding which according to my husband was the best he's ever had, and believe me he's had plenty so that's a great compliment! Thank you to the owners/chiefs it was a meal to remember.
We were just passing through town when a local recommended this restaurant as the best place to eat. We were not disappointed! I ordered the brisket, and my husband tried one of their burgers. Both were incredible. As a huge fan of bread pudding, we couldn’t resist trying their Bourbon Bread Pudding, and it turned out to be the best I’ve ever had! Anyone who rates this place positively must have had a bit too much to drink at the bar next door. I paid $26 for two burgers that were just large, flavorless chunks of meat—completely lacking any seasoning. The fries were unimpressive as well. This was definitely a one-time visit for me; it was quite disappointing. It’s a shame McDonald's is so far away, as anything would have been a better choice than this!
A reliable option given the limited dining choices in the area. I opted for a burger with a gluten-free bun (which is great because I didn't have to wrap it in lettuce) and fries. Both were good and satisfying, though nothing extraordinary. My brother and dad seemed to enjoy their meals as well. It's a nice place to stop by after a long day of fishing.
Food was good, pretty pricey. But the $8.50 price for kids dinner of just two small chicken strips and a small amount of fries was ridiculous. Even my seven year old looked at it when it was delivered and we shocked at their tiny meal. They knew nothing about the ridiculous price either.
My kids (16/14) split the chicken fried steak and my wife and i split the braised chicken plate. Each were very good and there was no additional charge for sharing a plate. Service was good. Atmosphere was nothing special. I'm not sure whom puts the rating, but it is in my opinion. Réservez une table maintenant
