So bit of an embarrassing review here. When this place first opened I didn't go because initially the Google reviews weren't that good. I had forsaken the ancient philosophy of Green Eggs and Ham that the high intellect of Dr Suess had taught to millions of young Americans. If I don't try Beau's how will I know if this place is good or not? Both burgers were excellent and cooked to perfection. The Beau's Burger Bleu, topped with blue cheese and bacon, was particularly delicious, while the Mushroom Swiss was equally satisfying. The fries served with my meal were perfectly balanced—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My dining companion opted for onion rings instead of fries, which were added as a side charge to his order.
I've dined here before while reviewing and have always enjoyed their chili dog. The food was decent; I had the fish and chips. The fish was slightly undercooked, but it wasn't a major issue. We chose to sit outside at the umbrella tables, but the area could have been cleaner—there was paper and bottles on the ground that seemed to have been there for quite some time. Overall, the experience was just average.
We have wanting to stop here for some time Finally did. The food was excellent. I got two dogs with the works. Could only eat one. Was full. Fries delish. The onion rings were excellent. We've visited this place twice, and the friendly staff surprised my daughter with a small cup of ice cream. The burgers are flavorful, classic, and made with fresh ingredients. The sweet potato fries are crispy and delicious. We will definitely be coming back!
The food was utterly terrible; I can't even begin to describe it. Even the ketchup had a spoiled taste—how does that even happen? What kind of "poutine" is this? The gravy tasted like nothing more than brown water. Really unappetizing.
Looks very basic and dirty, as was the service. The prices are bloated. Won't go back.
