This is a fantastic little market! The apples here are the best I've tasted in ages. It might be because I enjoyed one just 50 feet from the tree it came from, the day after it was picked, but that’s the kind of experience you can expect at this place. They offer excellent produce, scrumptious pies, and incredible apple cider. If you love fresh, quality food, definitely check this place out!
Two words: Pear Butter. I can't get enough of it! Whenever we visit our daughter at Marywood University, we always stop here for apples and other goodies on our way to Route 78. The young woman behind the counter was thoughtful enough to notice that our bushel of peaches was one fruit short and made sure to give us an extra one. Support small businesses!
I always enjoy shopping here for groceries when I'm not into the hustle and bustle of the bigger market. Great for last minute breakfast materials, pasta, produce, bread, and they even have a little thrift shop section since Quarantine. Masks worn inside. Not heavily trafficked, great for uncrowded evening shopping. Love supporting this small business.
