I would dine here again. The nut roast was fine, but kind of wet. The vegetables and Yorkshire pudding were decent. The chocolate brownie with ice cream was out of this world. The staff were nice, helpful and welcoming. The walls/ceiling could use some sound dampening to make it quieter, as the main dining area is a large square room without partitions etc. Vegetarian options: The nut roast was okay, tasted fine, but was a bit tender/moist for my liking. I'd like something denser and more flavorful.

Christmas catch up with my school friends. Very welcoming atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good selection of food. It was tasty and hot. Plentiful portions. We were not rushed off and enjoyed several hours of fun. I would thoroughly recommend this venue. Fantastic little pub. Great food. We had chicken burgers and fries which were incredibly filling. We also had the bree in breadcrumbs which was so naughty . A very nice, comfortable, warm restaurant. Good service and good food at reasonable prices. Popular rather than trendy. A good choice in the menu. Recommend.
