On May 31st, we had a reservation for a birthday party at 6 PM. However, at 4:30 PM that day, we received a call informing us that they couldn’t open due to a bathroom issue. We ended up going to another restaurant, but on our way, we passed by Beertown and saw several people enjoying the terrace. I was really disappointed that we didn’t return to that restaurant. This is certainly not a good way to retain regular customers!
We hadn't been to Beertown in Cambridge for a while. We had a table in a corner near the entrance to the kitchen for the servers. The food and service (Lexy) were good; however, with 4 speakers close by and with the music volume, the noise was painful on the ears, and we had to shout to each other to have a conversation. It was obvious others were shouting as well. We will be very reluctant to return.
Great experience! We received a friendly greeting and were seating right away. Hailey was our server and she was excellent. So friendly, fun and had some great food recommendations. The manager came to check in during our meal, and even held the door for us when we left. The food was delicious and came out quick and hot. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it.
