At Ulla everything is a little different. It is original from the decor to the dishes. If the little hunger is still tormenting me, I often look in at Ulla. The curry sausage with Pommes is not my case. Curry sauce is very glutamate. But the roast potatoes, with a carving are unbeatable. Also recommended is the acidic Brathering. Not to forget the legendary cucumber salad. Short and good: a simple menu, slightly snack-like dishes with relatively high proportions of finished products. Anyone who likes it simple and dedicating is well served at Ulla.
This place offers really great old school Curry Wurst (curry sausage), Schaschlik (wooden stick with meat, onions and peppers), Pommes (French Fries), Bratkartoffeln (roasted potato slices) etc. It is a good place to stop by and get some good local food without any fancy stuff....Same time it is absolutely affordable. Service is friendly and swift. If you are at Lübeck and starving or just hungry for some original local food, take the time to stop by and eat something inside or if weather permits on the terrace in front of the place.
Excellent and cosy small pub/restaurant. Busy but very friendly staff. Very good German style food, excellent Schnitzel and Currywurst. Good house-wines and overall pricing was reasonable. Pub was quite full, as good ones always do. Good vibes, nice atmosphere, surely worth of going and I...will go again when visiting Lübeck. Not a luxury, but I was looking for an authentic German style of bar and got more than I expected.
Wir sind dort auf Grund der guten Google-Bewertungen eingekehrt. Zunächst waren wir vom ersten Eindruck irritiert, da es auf den ersten Blick wie eine einfach Kneipe erscheint. Hinter dem Tresen werden jedoch die sehr leckeren Speisen frisch zubereitet. Uns hat es so gut geschmeckt, dass wir noch ein weiteres Mal nach Lübeck zur Ulla fuhren : LG aus Baden-Württemberg

Traditional restaurant, delicious curry sausage with Pommes Frites, only recommended. Tables and chairs are placed in front of the restaurant for a comfortable stay. Here you can watch in beautiful weather with a delicious beer in the city centre. The hostess is very nice and attentive.
Delicious food, super-cheap prices and a very rustic pub with style. The curry sausage is really delicious and you can only recommend it! Unfortunately, the (industrial) cucumber salad is very watery and softens the pommes, therefore always order either without or on a seperate dish.
Great cozy place with really tasty food but this is ruined by the awful smell of the toilets that can even be smelt in the restaurant area. Very off putting and makes you question the hygiene as the smell of sewage is wafting by when...eating.
Wir waren während unseres Lübeck Besuchs 2x bei Ulla. Beide Male bekamen wir ohne Reservierung `nen angenehmen Platz und waren mit dem bestellten Essen und den Getränken vollauf zufrieden. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich :

The staff was really nice and we didn’t have to wait long for drinks or food. Tried the schnitzel and it was very tasty! Price worthy as well
Well run eatery and bar. Fabulous Goulash soup. Gorgeous sausages and home cooking. Not to mention the beer and great atmosphere.
