Bel Vedere Italian Restaurant

We went for lunch on Christmas Day, having been a few times in the past for dinner. The online menu did not show a vegetarian option for Christmas Day but after emailing I was assured there would be something suitable available. On the day, there was nothing. The kitchen offered me gnocchi with squash and mushrooms, which I accepted. However, it was very filling and very soupy. I wouldn't have minded but the meal was £85 each and wine and coffee was on top of this. The restaurant was busy and there was a nice atmosphere and the staff were attentive but not intrusive. We visited this restaurant for lunch today. The food was good but the set-up of the menu was awful. When we came to pay the owner was very rude and seemed to find the fact that we were paying separately very difficult. I think he expected one person to pay for everyone! We ended up having a row, he was very rude to us and we won't ever go there again!

1st visit here will not be the last the menu is excellent and presentation is perfect flavours are perfect. Enjoyed the meals and hosts made sure we were happy. We have dined in many michelin star restaurants and the Bel Vedere is up there with them except for price exceptional value for money. Thank you for making my partner happy on her birthday.

Last night was our first visit to Bel Veder and we were not disappointed. A touch pricey but they do a lunchtime set menu for a cheaper option. A warm welcome, reasonably priced drinks and tasty traditional food cooked fresh. Parking at the rear too. We will definitely be back. Réservez une table maintenant

We were a big party with children, they were very friendly and accommodating. We had a range of lovely starters and the pasta mains were lovely. A great little place for authentic Italian food!

Staying with friends for the weekend they took me to Bell Vedere on Saturday night. Good honest Italian food, nicely presented, and courteous service. I was well impressed.

Food was amazing, perfect portion sizes. Owners lovely and very friendly. Great menu choices and good value for money. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back.

Lovely evening meal, we had a lovely pumpkin soup, Salmon, pasta and beef madallions, the food was gorgeous, service excellent, we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you. Réservez une table maintenant
