Stopped off after seeing the new signs for Belfield Press in the suburb on the way back from work, and wasn't disappointed. I chose to visit on amid- Monday morning, when it was less likely to be busy after the morning coffee runs.This new cafe/brunchery spot serves coffee from White Horse, which I hadn't had previously - and it's nutty, smooth and warm to the taste, I loved it. Spoke to the owner who was the barista that morning, and he says business is not yet booming but picking up in the area, which is on the rise. He took his time making a good coffee when I mentioned I'd not heard of White Horse before, and I could have combined it with a small but interesting small side menu for brunc...
coffee moderate, eating was not fresh or delicious, could not even finish it. I expected better from this very reviewed and talked about new caffe in belfield. we saw how the personal made our meals available from the refrigerator. the prices were appropriate for what we were serving. I had the avocado smash, which was mainly made of lemon or limette. I could not taste the avocado, although there were more than 1 avocado on my piece brot. not impressed, would not return.
the breakfast was delicious today, beautiful and different we loved it! the coffee was worth the ride and the take-away crowns were spectacular. we will definitely come back!
Staff were fantastic and accomodating, food was wonderful and beautifully presented. FINALLY a place close to home to do brunch!
