Today was my second visit to this deli, which I discovered a few weeks ago. It is wonderful. The prepared food is fresh and delicious excellent blintzes, lula kebabs, stuffed cabbage, etc. Today I decided to try tiramisu cake and didn't have high hopes because when I've gotten baked goods at similar delis around Brooklyn they are inevitably stale and taste like the refrigerator case. But this tasted fresh and it was delicious perfectly sweetened and light. Aside from the fresh foods, they have good prices on smoked fish, fresh pickles, and plenty of jarred foods from Eastern Europe. Unfortunately, the deli has taken a turn for the worse. The food quality has declined, with the once delicious cooked food now tasting bland. The friendly staff that used to make the experience special have been replaced by unwelcoming and gloomy individuals. As a result, the restaurant is usually empty.
Terrible! Do not waste your money! I paid $56.00 for nothing. The portions are tiny, I had some items missing from my order, and they replaced other items with whatever they wanted because they didn't have what I ordered. I'm very disappointed from our fellow Ukrainians. Never ordering here again.
This place was great once, but has been going downhill. The service has been really bad lately, the food is average at best

Delicious warm cheese danish straight from the oven, chicken pate and chicken pie. All fresh and nice.
