The food at this restaurant is fantastic, the staff are great, and the views are exquisite. The playful kookaburras add a fun touch. It's a really relaxing place that I love to visit whenever I'm in Sydney. My husband and I always make sure to stop by. The menu is fabulous and they offer high-quality wines at a reasonable price. I also enjoy the Limoncello. Whether you sit outside on a nice day or inside when it's windy, the views are always amazing. Bella Vista does a great job - always fantastic.
This cafe is a charming spot for coffee or lunch, with excellent food and service. We enjoyed sitting outside under the shade of the trees, not worried about kookaburras swooping down to steal our food (thankfully they didn't). It's a great place to stop by if you're exploring the North Heads Scenic Drive. After walking up from Manly, we took a leisurely stroll back to Shelly Beach, making for a very enjoyable two and a half hour walk.
Bella vista has the opportunity to be a well run cafe in a fabulous location with breathtaking views to the city & the heads. I return repeatedly only for coffee or cold drinks & even when very few customers are here am left waiting 15 minutes. The overall service is poor, very slow & limited. Worth a visit to take in the view with a seat - not for the service or quality food.
A lovely cafe and a good place for coffee or lunch. The food and service was very good. We sat outside in the shade of the trees ignoring the washing that kookaburras could steal our food (they didn't). Good to visit here if you are doing the North Heads Scenic Drive. We walked up from Manly and returned to Shelly Beach, a very pleasant walk (about 2 and a half hours)

We used to visit frequently were always disappointed with lack of food choice bad service. What a pleasant surprise we had! They’ve got a new menu, table service overall a great improvement. It’s not casual anymore, so large, main dishes, but that still had some light lunch options a kids menu. Fantastic location now great food!
I highly recommend this restaurant - it's excellent in every way, even on a midweek visit. The parking is good and I recommend bringing a jacket in case it gets breezy.
Good service , very good coffee, great location, moderate price. Can't think of a better place to have a coffee and a snack before tackling the Sydney traffic.

I ordered Spaghetti Marinara with Chianti and I so love the pastaThe taste's perfect and the seafood is so fresh and tasty.
