On a back road through the Jura Mountains, the Belle-Vue is a throw back in time. The restaurant is part of hotel in a lovely period building - you can imagine travellers back in the day having a rest-over on their way through the Jura. We stopped for lunch by accident and were pleasantly surprised; their speciality Chateaubriand steak was excellent! Copious and well presented, the different varieties of steak were tender and tasty. The accompanying vegetables crispy but cooked and the service present but not too much. The interior could do with a bit of a freshen up, but that's only a detail. I'll be going back.

The restaurant is part of the hotel in a beautiful period building you can imagine travelers return to the day with a rest on the way through the Jura. We stopped by chance for lunch and were pleasantly surprised; her speciality Chateaubriand Steak was excellent! Delicious and well presented, the various varieties of Steak were delicate and tasty. The accompanying vegetables crispy, but cooked and the service available, but not too much. The interior could make something fresh, but this is just a detail. I'm going back.
Eigentlich wollten wir hier essen. Leider wurde und durch das unfreundliche Verhalten der Bedienung rasch einmal klar, dass wir mit den Kindern nicht willkommen sind. So hat die Bedienung unserem Sohn (9 Jahre) auf französisch gesagt: "Wenn du nicht sofort die Hände ab dem Tisch nimmst, nehme ich dir das Service wieder weg". Es war ihr klar, dass er nur deutsch spricht... Als dann die Bedienung auch noch klar machte, dass in diesem Restaurant keine Teigwaren, auc nicht für Kinder, serviert werden, haben wir halt nur etwas getrunken.
