This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had! I was shocked to find raw meatballs in my dish—what kind of chef serves undercooked meat? My husband’s pie was mostly made up of tough pastry and gray, unappealing mashed potatoes, all drenched in a thick, congealed sauce. By the time my meal was finally replaced—after a lengthy 15-minute wait—my husband had already finished his. Went in on Sunday, hadn't booked and a lovely lady squeezed us in! The food was delicious. We had squid and panko prawns to share to start 2 starters) and then haddock and chips x 2 and the mussels! Really tasty food! Great friendly service, and we thought very reasonably priced. For the 3 of us with a pint of beer, pint of cider and a mulled wine, it came to £87. Lovely little pub overlooking the sea. Would be great in the summer. The only thing I found a bit strange was that they closed at 9.30pm, may be just a one off.
