Real Italian family making amazing food in a great little cozy sit in/take out restaurant. If you are looking for a big shebang restaurant where to be seen, walk a bit west towards McGill street, you will find a few there, but if you simply want to eat well in a non pretentious environment, this is your destination. An excellent place to grab a sandwich in the old port. There is a lot of junk food around the old port so this place is a great way to avoid that and get an amazing sandwich for a great price from a local place. They also have salads and some hot dishes. I wish I knew about the place years ago, now I know if I ever need a quick and tasty meal when in the area I can easily stop here. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Ferris wheel.
a warm tortilla and perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the cranberries. The flavors are so fresh and delicious, I find myself craving it all the time. The portion size is also great, making it the perfect meal for lunch or a light dinner. I highly recommend trying the chicken cranberry wrap at this restaurant!
We stopped in to this deli / restaurant and was impressed with what was in the deli counters. One area with fabulous salads, one with the ingredients to make a great sandwich (which they will heat for you.) Also the pizza was tasty. Nice and clean and several tables available to eat. Don't miss it.

Worked in the area for 2.5 yrs and heard of this place but never went. Finally tried it today and quite enjoyed my sandwich and salad. Only downfall it was expensive, 16.00 for a panni and tiny salad. I know you get what you pay for but this is a bit much.Will go back once and a while.
We got some delicious sandwiches! They come with a choice of salada and a drink! Options are great and you can eat in the park in front. They forgot to add a fork in the bag for the salad. Check before you leave. Had a chicken brie sandwich and was delicious!
The food tastes, as it were home made. The decor looks trendy, but ask the owner, he did most of the work himself, and proud of it (as he should be). The atmosphere as a result is authentic without and pretension.
This is the best restaurant we've ever been to! As three friends visiting Montreal for a few days, we have tried some of the most popular restaurants and highly recommended places. Bello Deli is a must-visit!
