The food was very good with a nice selection of choices at good prices. In good weather you can eat outside but due to the cold wind we had to eat inside. The view was excellent nevertheless. Friendly staff that lacked ultimate serving skills bringing lukewarm tea and then arguing about it. Replaced at a much better temperature but a little downside. This is also the hotel breakfast room and the breakfast is very good if you are staying in the hotel
A lovely hotel with great location, views and food. The staff are wonderfully and helpful with some English translation when needed. The food was extremely good in a pleasant restaurant overlooking the gorge Wonderful place for people cycling the gorge as there is a pool and you can hire rooms with hot pot and a looked store where you can put your bikes in. A perfect base for exploring the valley and the Ardèche river. Hope to come back soon.
Lovely surroundings to enjoy fresh, local French faire. Try the local l’Ardèche wine. You will be pleasantly surprised. Reservations recommended. Service couldn’t be better. Parking on the front and side of the hotel. The front area is small so use the driveway on the side of the hotel to access the rest of the parking area. Be careful leaving. One of the exit points is on a bit of a blind curve.
Menu à prix très raisonnable pour la qualité offerte. J'ai choisi des fruits de mer avec une bonne salade, suivis d'un magret de canard servi avec du miel local, cuit exactement comme je l'ai commandé. Fini avec trois très bons fromages, tous en parfait état. Pour un voyageur en solo, il était bon de trouver quelques bouteilles de 50 cl sur la carte des vins Réservez une table maintenant
Un repas splendide avec des ingrédients frais, un personnel attentionné et une excellente sélection de vins. C'était de loin le repas le plus agréable que nous ayons eu dans toute la France, et à un prix des plus abordables.
A splendid meal with fresh ingredients, attentive staff and an excellent selection of wines. This was by far the most enjoyable meal we had in all of France, and at a most affordable price.
Nous avons encore mangé ici alors que nous étions à l'hôtel. Le personnel est excellent et parle très bien anglais. La nourriture est fantastique et à un prix raisonnable.
