A successful business gives out what clients are looking for and being a local Burleigh boy I continually support restaurants who do. So looking at the site’s photos of table cloths, e-candles, live music, great deserts, I took my interstate guests to a very disappointing venue.I saw none of what was in the site photos.The venue wasnt busy and yet our waitress pestered us persistently over ordering and when served surpisingly quickly, my rigatoni al ragu di vitello was anything but.. ie, rigatoni is not penne and ragu di vitello needs the veal to make it a dish, not 5 small fatty morsels mixed into the ragu. I saw a TikTok video about Stonemil and decided to visit. The service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was great. I really enjoyed my meal. I ordered the gnocchi, which is served in a cheese wheel, along with lemon roast and a cocktail. The food was sensational! I would definitely go back.
I've never been disappointed here. The food is consistently fabulous, and it's some of the best Italian cuisine on the coast. I really wish they would bring back the beef tartare with burrata!
We had a fantastic experience! The food was outstanding, and the service was warm and friendly. The cocktails were delightful as well. We'll definitely be back soon!
