Bem Coffee - Réservation de table

I went to this cafe mid-afternoon today for a cup of tea and a snack. After placing my order, I went to pay with cash as I had left my debit card at home. Wherupon the assistant said the establishment only accepted cards and would not take cash by order of the owner. I left the premises without making a purchase and crossed the road to Heaters, where the helpful assistant made me a delicious drink and accepted cash for the transaction. I am seventy-nine years of age, and have been brought up to pay wherever possible with real money. If my cash is not good enough fro them, then their restaurant is not good enough for me. If it were possible this establishment would receive no stars.

Visit Bem coffee shop in St Johns with family to pass an hour on a Saturday morning while our granddaughter is at a ballet class. Always really good coffee plus selection of other beverages should you not fancy coffee. The pastries and cakes are always fresh and tasty (if not so good for the waistline) A good selection of alternatives available if you don’t have a sweet tooth. Staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. A nice relaxed way to pass an hour on a Saturday morning. Would recommend.

Came here as website looked great but very misleading. Breakfast and food really poor and lazy. This place could be amazing, they need much better bread, sourdough would already make such a difference, not just sliced soggy toast. Properly cooked eggs, stronger coffee, better interior. It’s just really sloppy. What a shame.

Went in for takeaway coffee as working just across the road served by a quite vacant member of staff stood to one side so as not to be in the way and then got asked by an even more vacant and rude member of staff to wait outside it wasn't even that busy to top it all the coffee wasn't even that good wouldn't go there again Réservez une table maintenant

As s local, popped in for the first time. Ordered a Latte and Cookie. Both were excellent. However I was unpleasantly surprised by the cost. Paid just over £8 which downgraded my experience. Unfortunately I don't think I will be returning.

my choice today was a panini with cheese and avocado . The avocado was hard and not ripe. Instead of serving it I wish they had told me to select something else!

We are regulars at Bem's. The coffee is excellent. The staff are very good. We highly recommend this cafe, better than coffee chains we've been to!

Outrageously-priced (and nothing to write home about) coffee. Poor decor and uncomfortable seating. Would never go again or recommend. Réservez une table maintenant

Best flat white in Woking! Served in glass, good strength, very hot. Always friendly, helpful service.
