We arrived 15 minutes late for our reservation, but the hostess was very accommodating and seated us quickly, which created a positive atmosphere for our visit. The restaurant's layout and seating arrangements were pleasant, and everything appeared to be very clean. Unfortunately, the service did not match our initial expectations. Our orders were mixed up, and we had to wait an extra 15 minutes for the correct dish, which still arrived with an undercooked pancake. After returning that, we received a third plate that was missing fruit, and one of our orders completely lacked bread. We also had to ask for water before it was finally served to us. Regrettably, the quality of this breakfast spot has diminished compared to its former days. Although the service was excellent and friendly, the food fell short of expectations. The poached eggs were overcooked and served in a watery mess, while the sausages were undercooked. With so many fantastic breakfast options available in Montreal and Laval, I probably won't be coming back.
I found the food to be quite disappointing. The eggs had an overpowering vinegar aftertaste, and the fruit bowl we ordered was unappealing; the strawberries appeared older than I am! With numerous breakfast and brunch spots in Laval, there’s no reason to return to Ben Florentine. They had their opportunity, and I won’t be going back. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.
I called at 2:10 to check if they were still open, and they assured me they would be until 3:00. I let them know I was on my way. I arrived at 2:28, but to my disappointment, I was informed that they had already closed both the dining area and the kitchen. This was a total waste of my time, and I won't be coming back.

The organization was incredibly lacking! My companion and I waited outside for 15 minutes, and I saw at least three empty tables for two. In the end, I chose to leave without ever stepping inside and won’t be returning.
Securing a parking spot was a bit challenging. The parking lot is small, and the spaces are quite cramped, even for a standard-sized vehicle.
