Went to Bennigans after not going there for almost 10 years and as I walked in, the place was disgusting, the floors dirty, the waiter and the waitress barely spoke English. The menu was sticky and smelly. Read the food and nothing that I use to like was in the menu anymore. Looked at my date and told her. Faked an emergency just to get out of that place to avoid any waiters or waitress giving up an attitude for leaving the place without ordering anything. Ended up at IHop for good food. Bennigans ever been the same. Avoid the place like the plague.
I've been to other Bennigan's before and it was always terrific. I stopped here on my first night in Miami and was it ever a BIG mistake. The food was just barely okay and the service was horrible. I was expected to eat my dinner with a plastic knife and fork because the silverware was all being washed and wrapped and this was at dinner time AND there were only a few other customers in the place GEE I wonder why???
Me and my mother went to eat there this past Friday night... the food was really good and service was good we had more then one person come to our table to ask if every thing was ok which show they have go team work and we even saw the manager helpong his staff and cleaning tables which you dont see alot anymore..Over all it was a good time we are happy they are open again.
We were at the Red Roof Inn (next door) for almost a week and ended up eating here almost every day. It was better than having to fight Miami traffic. The bar didn't stock Jack Daniel's or ginger ale. When I asked for tonic, I got club soda. One night I ordered a Cobb Salad, and it was anything but. The food was so-so. Service was OK.
