I’m honestly speechless.Me and my girlfriend went in for open (8am), everything Started off amazing. Service was incredible and friendly. Food came out insanely fast was delicious. We wanted to do mimosas so we waited until 9 as the waitress politely told us she couldn’t serve before then. We picked away at our breakfast, at 9 our waitress asked if we still wanted our drinks. We said yes. We ordered a second, I asked for a box. all after having a 5min conversation with the waitress about how we wanted to stay for a few more drinks she said no problem and to take our time.About 2 minutes later our bill was slapped on our table with no reasoning as to why we were basically kicked out. Waitress was nice enough. Went there for the all day breakfast (you know, like the sign says), but evidently no breakfast after 4pm. Had a chicken sandwich with fries. Asked to replace the fries with a soup or salad.. was told it would be an extra charge. The sandwich and fries would be unacceptable for a basic cafeteria... let alone a restaurant charging full price. It was just a bun with a leaf of lettuce and two tomato slices and a deep fried frozen chicken patty like you'd get at Giant Tiger or something. No mayo or butter or seasoning or anything.
I have been going to this restaurant for years. It used to be called Chez George, then Dunn's, and now All Day Benny's. The service has always been great. The atmosphere is friendly and the food is delicious at a reasonable price. I come up from London, Ontario twice a year to visit my uncle, who introduced me to this place. I'm grateful he did. Giselle has been working there for a long time and always remembers us, sharing a few jokes. I love this place.
Mediocre. I got the vegetarian omlette. It was dry and didn't have the best taste. It needed salt and pepper, but it tasted like one of the vegetables was unwashed. The home fries were dry and overcooked. The serving size was decent, but it was about $20 for breakfast, which seems a bit much. Got a chocolate shake, and it also wasn't very good. Booth was uncomfortable too.
The restaurant offers a fantastic range of dishes on the menu, catering to almost every taste. The service is fast and the staff are friendly. While the booths are a bit cramped, overall I enjoy dining here for dinner. The pizza is outstanding, with a homemade taste to it.
