Bennys Breakfast Bar

Quiet weekday morning, promptly seated and good service from Brittany throughout. Nice to have carafe of coffee at the table to avoid relying on the wait staff.I ordered the Shell Premium omelette. It's the most expensive omelette on the menu ($15) but it was really nothing special. And the line cook either mixed up ingredients of two omelettes or I was delivered the wrong omelette entirely, because it had an extra ingredient (mushrooms) and I think it was missing the sausage, which meant I received the Phillips 66 omelette ($13) instead. It was actually a last minute decision to stop in at Bennys on the weekend. It was busy but we were able to get a booth right away. The owner took us to our table and told us a bit about his new venture. He uses local product for the restaurant which is one big reason to go there in my opinion. Our breakfast was delicious!! Everything done just the way it should be. I also like that you get your own little coffee pot and cream in an eco-friendly container right at your table. The wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. I believe Bennys is here for the long haul. Don't hesitate to try it out!

The atmosphere is outstanding. Very warm and welcoming. The vibe is nostalgic with the decor being very retro. Something on the menu for everyone. Bennys staff is second to none. Our waitress today was Jessica and she was on top of it. Cups stayed full, and she was very attentive. Not to the point of being a bother but there when you needed her. We came in hungry and left full and happy. I had the Benny Burger (delicious by the way) wife had the smoked salmon Bennys, the kid had a giant waffle with warm fruit and cream. Party of 3; bill was 40.00 including a 20% tip. Definitely coming back.

Was visiting my son in Calgary for the long weekend and it was suggested we go have breakfast at one of his favorite breakfast restaurant called Bennys. I ordered the famous Bennys Classic Breakfast with the only request of having my eggs well done but had to send it back twice because they kept bringing them back sunny side up which I can't stand runny yolk. Ended it up eating my breakfast when everyone was almost done and cold because they never bothered to heating the rest up of my plate or redoing my toast. A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE and would not recommend!! Réservez une table maintenant

If you want to spend 15$ for their version of basic bacon and eggs...you are in the right spot....food is mediocre in presentation and taste. Needs a daily feature like Humptys 6.79$ choice or Dennys 8$ features. Lots of competitive choices close by....with better value...the same service...and same quality....give them a pass....

The food at this restaurant is incredible, easily the best breakfast I've had in a long time! The service is exceptional and I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys breakfast. The classic diner atmosphere is a really cool touch to the overall experience.

Food was excellent and the service to a high standard. The wait to be seated was approx 15 min. And the meal was a bit of a wait , but the meal worth the wait. Definately do take in this restaurant in Calgary you won't be disappointed.
