A few days ago, I stumbled upon this restaurant while returning from an appointment. Since I'm still relatively new to the area, I thought it looked interesting and decided to check it out. The door was unlocked, and I almost pushed aside the barrier but hesitated. I later realized I may have been mistaken, but no one mentioned anything until they seated me. I felt a bit guilty and kept saying I would come back later, but they insisted I stay and eat since they were about to open and everything was ready for the morning. There aren’t many kosher delis where you can find a delicious hot pastrami or corned beef sandwich, but Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen and Restaurant excels in this area. They have expanded their seating to create more outdoor dining options, making it easier for us to enjoy a great lunch or dinner. My mother-in-law, who is in her 90s, was absolutely delighted when I treated her to one of their amazing corned beef sandwiches. Despite her claims of having lost her appetite, she certainly wasn’t willing to share her sandwich with me! Ben's also offers delivery and has a thriving take-out service. Additionally, they sell some really fun gifts!
I usually do not write reviews but I was so taken back by the the Ben’s deli on Central Avenue in Scarsdale. I have been to numerous Bens deli being the pastrami fan that I am. The pastrami was the freshest most delicious mouth melting pastrami I’ve ever had in my entire life. I asked the waiter if he could bring over the manager so I can tell the manager how happy I was with the quality of his food. he brought over the manager Oscar and the head chef Attilio and they were so appreciative by my comments that I felt their sincerity. My wife had other food which she said was also very good.
This is a spacious kosher deli located between two other kosher delis on Central Avenue in the Westchester district. The restaurant is quite large and is perfect for accommodating big groups. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and we opted to dine inside away from other couples. The meal includes standard unlimited coleslaw and pickles. The sandwiches are hefty and packed, while the fries are thick-cut and hand-cut as well. The prices are a bit higher than average. I'm not entirely sure why they use the same types of meat, but overall, it’s an excellent deli.

I love this place, the food is excellent, the people who work here are the best. Unfortunately, it looks like this place is another victim of COVID. So sad. I really hope they return when things improve. I'm gonna miss Oscar, he's really a nice guy.
It was great to go to a deli, get a delicious bowl of soup and half a sandwich. It was just enough to eat I we didn't walk away stuffed. My husband liked the half sour pickles and I loved the sour pickles served with the cole slaw.
the food was excellent. it was a very simple delicacies with better than average food. I had the top string that was delicious and slim.
The experience was average overall. The potato pancakes were fantastic, but the rest of the dishes were just mediocre.

It’s ok. French fries were great. Sandwiches weren’t over filled. Meats were ok. The other Ben’s are really better.
