Great value for money. I was suprised with quality of food for such a reasonable price. I’m over the moon. The curry sauce to go with chips was delicious and pineapple fritter was to die for! I’ll be popping in for this little treat every time I’m in Newark-guaranteed!

we went first to benedikt when we were on a boat through. now we catch a bus from nottingham just to get to beneleys because they have the best fishing and chips everywhere. that is worth it. well done benedikt.

The food was overcooked, possibly reheated from the previous night, with burnt and black bits from the old oil on the chips. It was greasy and unpleasant. I would recommend avoiding this place.
