I rarely see my seven-year-old son enjoy food, as he is quite picky. However, during our dinner at Bento on Harrington Street today, he actually finished a don with eel and chicken (I can't recall the exact menu). We also ordered curry, but it turned out to be too spicy for him. I had the salmon sashimi, which was incredibly fresh, and I couldn't believe the price—just 5 dollars for 4 pieces! We will definitely be going back, possibly on a weekly basis!

The food is very fresh, the customer service is excellent, and everything is clean. I give it a 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, and 5/5 for atmosphere. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic restaurant! The food is delicious, served fresh and hot. The staff is very friendly, and the prices are excellent for the quality you receive.
Visiting Hobart and after looking at the other restaurants in the area I chose Bento, great Japanese , very well price and friendly service.
I always order Eel Don and it seems to get better everytime Dietary restrictions: Be aware the soy sauce isn't gluten free.
