Ate here with my family. It was a wonderful experience. Loved it on multiple levels including comfortable atmosphere, great food and warm service. We had baked feta, chicken skewer, lamb skewer, gyros and a mixed grill. The recommended wine was lovely and went well with the mixed grill. The complementary ouzo at the end of the meal was the perfect touch. Very reasonable for exceptional meal and attentive service.
We’ve been going to Berg Athos for almost two years and it’s our favorite restaurant in K-town. Nerco is the most welcoming host, and we always enjoy getting to see him again and enjoy a shot of his homemade ouzo. Our favorite plates are the lamb popsicles, steak with peppercorn sauce and the Greek salad. Everything we have had is spectacular. This a must- visit when in Kaiserslautern!
A wonderful, unexpected surprise. We were greeted with a smile and though they were busy they were able to seat us with a time limit. (Lesson learned … Make a reservation). All of our food was plentiful and full of flavor. Salads, meat dishes, grilled peppers and fries were robust. Atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Will return. A definite must in KTown!
Ein verhältnismäßig kleines Restaurant mit einem sehr schönen Ambiente. Ich hatte eine Grillplatte, welche geschmacklich sehr gut war, insbesondere dass Lamm und das Gyros. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, der Service ist super. Nach meinem ersten und zweiten Besuch werden sicherlich noch weitere folgen. Daher absolute Weiterempfehlung. Visited this restaurant with a group of friends and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Each dish we tried was good and the service was quick. The owner was friendly and very hospitable. Pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place.
