Wir kamen, als einzige Gäste hinein.Der Wirt bzw.die weibliche Bedienung machten schnell Ihre Zigaretten aus...Unangenehmer Geruch, nach Zigarettenrauch und alten Fett im Gastraum. Weiterhin ließ die Sauberkeit zu Wünschen übrig. Die Tischlampen voll von Staub genau wie die Fensterbrett.Ich hatte als Vorspeise ein Schmalzbrot, das Schmalz war ok,aber das Brot war alt und nicht frisch. Als Hauptgang hatte ich die Kohlrolade, die Portion war ok jedoch lieblos angerichtet. Lediglich wenige Salzkartoffeln mit ein wenig trockenpetersielie und eine Kohlrolade. Keine Salatbeilage.es schmeckte fad. Der Riesenwindbeutel ist allerdings toll und wirklich riesig. Ich würde jedoch nicht wieder hingehen.
Sehr guter hausgemachter Kuchen: Stachelbeer- und Käsekuchen haben wir probiert! Sehr nette Bedienung. Der Wirt selbst scheint alteingesessen und beliebt bei örtlichen Gästen zu sein! Das deftige aber gut zubereitete warme Essen ist hausgemacht, leckere Bratkartoffeln gibt es hier zum Beispiel. Die kalten Platten (z.B. Schinkenbrot, Harzer Käsebrot) sind mit frischen Salatblättern, Schmalz und gutem Bauernbrot serviert.Urige Atmosphäre im Gastraum, saubere Toiletten.Ich war in meinen drei Tagen Urlaub zweimal da, komme gerne wieder.
We went as a family with two kids. Everything about this place is nice. The food is excellent good quality, very well done and nicely served. The staff is smiling and helpfull, and even thought we had several orders (one of our kids didn’t...wanted to order anything at first), we felt welcome and they did everything to make us feel comfortable. The interior is nice, and they have a real fireplace that gives the restaurant a calm atmosphere. Will definetely come again.
we were a family with two children. everything about this place is beautiful. eating is excellent good quality, very well done and well served. the personal smiles and helpful, and even thought we had commanded several (one of our children didn't want to. wanted to order everything first,) we felt welcome and they did everything to feel comfortable. the interieur is beautiful and they have a real kamin that gives the restaurant a quiet atmosphere. will come again.

German comfort food is the rule here. Try the spaetzle and cheese--and enjoy the view. The mountains and valleys make everything taste scrumptious.
