We thought a beer after our beautiful day of snowshoes in Weissenberge. We sat outside on the balcony for a beer first and watched the beautiful sunset from the huge surrounding mountains. We went on a fondue dinner later. Although we had no reservations, the owners have accommodated us by serving us at a table for later booking. The fondue was delicious and the service was impeccable. We had a nice time in this restaurant. If you want to eat there for dinner, I would recommend a booking. We were lucky to find a place. The view of the surrounding mountains was breathtakingly beautiful!
It's always a pleasure. Very friendly and attentive staff. The cook and his beautiful wife are busy with a smile. The food is served rustically and tastefully. The atmosphere is open and as you expect it high in the mountains. A great adventure and excitement for a family. Enjoy a great slide on the rented sled back to the valley, illuminated by rustic kerosene lamps.
so far everything was in order: nice operation. good cake, good pommes. cover against the cold. but disturbing for us and friends incl. baby was the dog that belonged to the owner family or their friends and was tied 1 meter away from us. we find: the disorder/impairment should be perceived as a host.
it is a beautiful traditional place and the service is welcoming, friendly and to accept your requirements. Good food and drink. We were in winter before we slept down the hill and it was just the right place to stop for a beer and some food... before the ride. Thank you.
