Berggasthaus Holzegg

Went there with a friend last thursday cause we wanted to get out of the fog. Walked up from the Village out of the shade into the sun and were stunned by the view on the huge deck of the restaurant. We were the only guests at the time (11:10am, offseason tho), we ordered a alc free Beer and a Water at first, but decided to stay for lunch since it was very warm on comfy. Had Älplermacaroni for luch with Applesauce. The food was okay.

Very friendly service in the restaurant and also at the cable car. A drink could also be ordered in the restaurant that is not officially on the menu. The cable car is great and shortens the strenuous route on the Gr. Myths about a greater distance.

Really recommend this place. Very friendly and fast service. Fine food and quite large portions. Very reasonable prices for the location. Astonishingly, it was not very crowded, although we visited on a Saturday.

A well located restaurant, opposite the bus stop. Ideal if you have to wait, time for something to eat or drink. Garden restaurant available. Good and fast service. Priced like normal ramen. Gladly again Réservez une table maintenant

I can only confirm the many very positive reviews about Holzegg. What particularly struck us, despite the high number of visitors, was the cleanliness, especially in the washrooms.
