As a frequent visitor to Switzerland and the Alps, this by far on my top five list as Must-see. You begin with an already breathtaking view of the traquil Lake Thun with the imposing Niesehorn in the back and the Stockhorn just to the right. Then you go up the Niederhorn Bahn with its fantisic windows giving you the best seat in the cabin from anywhere you sit.Then you take the Gondola that takes you further up to the summit. Be sure to take deep breaths from even more stunning views.Lastly, you must enjoy some fondue and the Niederhorn house coffee at da Haus. Not only will you ignore the prices but be astounded why so many tourists from Grindelwald and Interlaken have not descended on this...
We hiked up to the top and went to the restaurant. The staff did not really welcome us and the variety of food was very poor. The food tasted very average, but was really expensive compared with other restaurants in the mountains. The coffee was a disaster and was not even close to real coffee.The journey back in the cable car was also overpriced. Paid almost the same amount for going down as for a return ticket.

I can not recommend this place, it is not more than asuper expensive school kitchen, the staff has been unfriendly from the beginning and the food is not worth his price. Le petit dejeuner est tres teribles.

Very tasty and nicely decorated food, be it for brunch, lunch or dinner.. The guys are very nice and caring for their hosts. If you are staying for the night (by the way, you are getting a reduction on the ticket price to get up), you can enjoy the nice scenery and the beautiful sunset from the terrace, maybe together with some ibex :-).
