"The Gasthof Streichen is a great excursion restaurant and only recommended! We had the hike to Lake Tauben behind us and great hunger. At the friendly service we ordered from the extensive map two carvings with potatoes and vegetables at first glance an unusual combination. The food was really excellent and the price top! We like to come back at any time, recommend this host and try through the map!"

General The Berggasthof is located directly on the strings chapel, which is 8th. Century. Its location is unique. You have a beautiful view of the ramp wall and the rock. From the chapel 5 minutes walk to the Wilder Kaiser. The inn has existed for centuries. It is designed as you expect from a mountain guest house. Feel and original. By car you can drive so far that you are on site in 5 minutes. Operation When larger groups of visitors come, the kitchen and operation quickly reach the limits. However, this does not interfere with the great environment. You look. However, one is very concerned about the welfare of the guests. Food The carvings are excellent. The kitchen is remarkably good for...

The location above the valley and the view from Berggasthof Streichen would be worth a visit. But also the inn is a Bavarian Idyll. A beautiful rustic courtyard, with painting on the house wall and beautifully carved wood, also the interior decor beautiful and rustic (e.g. the tile stove with pictures of the surroundings). In front of the house there is a beautiful host garden with chestnuts and camp wall views. Both the afternoon lunchtime and lunch were able to convince us. The dumplings handmade and tender, the Hirschmedaillons a poem! Sometimes the offer for vegetarians is not necessarily extensive. The arrival here should, of course, be combined with a visit to the very interesting pilg...

From almost every point of the beautiful Bavarian municipality of Schleching you can see white in the sunlight shiny the string church and the string inn high on the mountain. Whether as a car sailor or hiker, a trip up to the mountain for petting is always worth it. On the one hand, the church is beautiful to look at and refers to a very own history. On the other hand, the inn with its terrace and beer garden attracts an overwhelming panorama. Deep down you can see the wide Achental, opposite slightly increases the impressive mountain range of Kampenwand and Geigelstein. Sitting there in the afternoon with coffee and cakes or a defensive bread time, always accustoms you with the world is an...

Yesterday we came back after a week holiday at Berggasthof Streichen. Never much of me the farewell so hard. The view from the Berggasthof is breathtaking. The rooms are simply original. Double room with running cold and warm water. Right next to the shower and two toilets. You will be good and the food is so delicious that you miss the words. A rich breakfast awaits you every morning, leaving nothing to be desired. As a holidaymaker you can drive to the Berggasthof by car and the view is unique day and night. This mountain house is my first address from today when I make vacation there.
