We have just come back from Mayrhofen for a skiing holiday. We have been to Mayrhofen many times and Bergrast is one of our family's absolute favourite restaurants! The food is always superb, service is always quick, and the staff are an absolute delight ...special mention to lovely Anna, who we see every year and always has a big smile for us! We use both the a la carte restaurant and the self service, and find them equally good. We enjoy the Austrian specialities, the pizzas are great, and it's a fabulous stop for a final gluwein, beer or hot chocolate before you go down the Penkenbahn again at the end of the day. Had lunch here a few times. The food was decent, for mountain fodder. The burgers tasty and the Triloer Grostl was good. There's a bar on the ground floor which gets a bit rowdy and stinks of smoke, which is the downside of this place.

Lovely mountain restaurant Looks brand new immaculate Only ate in the self service Food very good and not too pricey BUT it gets incredibly busy and very hot at peak times Eat earlier or later I'd suggest
