This is a great self-service hut with a friendly owner and located right in front of the most important Gerlos pistes. There is a huge amount of great skiing nearby and because it is high and not near the gondola base station, it is not crowded. There is a large sun terrace for sunbathing on warm days. Inside you will get a good value, traditional, hearty Austrian mountain food, a cozy atmosphere and a chance to see the hunting trophies and the taxidermy of the owner. A real Tyrolean ski hut!

This is a great self-service hut with a friendly owner and located just off the main Gerlos slopes. There's a huge quantity of great skiing near it and because it's up high and not near the gondola base station, it's not overcrowded. There's a big sun terrace for sunbathing on warm days. Inside you'll get good value, traditional, hearty Austrian mountain food, a cosy atmosphere and a chance to view the owner's hunting trophies and taxidermy. A proper Tirolean ski Hütte!
