The owner of this fine restaurant has been running its restaurant for over 20 years. The site offers fantastic views to Frankfurt. The building served as a teahouse for a local family, also owned by the white villa, another iconic building... in Gelnhausen. The teahouse is of generous proportions and has high ceilings and a veranda, which is also used as an additional seating for the restaurant during the summer season. Back to the owner who dressed the restaurant floor as a cook and missed nothing. Although we had no booking, we got a nice table. Service was efficient, but a little slow. Beautiful view of the city, prices are normal (tea 2-20E, beer 3E, cake 2-8E). Torte was incredible! So fresh, so delicious. And flyers on every table.

We were here for a nice dinner with colleagues. Service, quality of food and location/view is very nice and will definitely visit again.
