In August we were able to celebrate our beautiful wedding in the Bergtrotte. During the planning phase, Manuel fulfilled exactly our wishes with the menu suggestion and the rehearsal dinner. We had a great party, starting with a nice aperitif before the trot until all of our guests arrived. Afterwards we went to the trot for dinner. Our 5-course meal was an absolute delight in every course, starting with soup salad, sorbet in the middle course, beef fillet with gratin and the dessert buffet at the end. We are often guests in the impressive, noble and yet homely-looking Trot. Large and small pieces of jewelry from bygone times have been tastefully incorporated. At a rather late hour for the walk, the trot shone invitingly at us with its indirect light, but we were still treated to Philipp's hot chocolate cake and ice cream. We were invited by friends to eat at this gastronomic gem. The ambience convinced us with the very successful fusion of modern and old half-timbered. The property, built halfway into the mountain, blends wonderfully into the lush green, otherwise largely undeveloped nature of the valley. Loving service ensures untroubled enjoyment of the impeccable cuisine, the selection of regional wines did the rest to round off the evening.
