My first visit to Berlew's since moving from the Bronx. I had my eye on it since I first arrived and I am glad to say they did not disappoint!I got the Italian Deluxe, White Birch Beer, and they forced, FORCED me to get the homemade Bread Pudding (ok, they didn't force anything, I was overly willing).I love the old timey fridge and the super friendly people working there.The Italian Deluxe was absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients, crisp lettuce and tomato. (nothing is worse than a whimpy tomato...am I right?)This place is definitely worth a visit and I am sure you will be happy with your selection as I am!
I stopped in for a hoagie and a soda. The price was good, the service was fast, and the hoagie was good. Next time I would ask for extra lettuce as there was not much on it. Overall a good experience and I will stop in the next time I am in that town.
I have always bought hoagies from Berlew's, and I'm really glad this little mom-and-pop shop is still around in Moosic. My parents love the hoagies when I bring them home. Thank you for continuing the tradition that your grandparents started!
This place has the best hoagies around and they make them faster than anywhere else. I highly recommend it! It’s often my go-to spot for lunch on Thursdays when I’m in the area.
