It took me 3 times to finally be able to eat at Bernie's and it was ok. First time I went right before 3p and was told they don't seat people between 3-4 since they are changing over, Second time there were too many large parties and they didn't have any more reservations, this Third time I got in but was almost turned away because there were more large parties and not enough staff....was told to eat at the bar if we wanted to stay. After seeing people being seated after we were told we couldn't be, we mentioned that and was able to get a table and be served by a very good waitress. I don't know if I have a desire to come back here anytime soon or at all, but it was nice to finally try the f...
I've been wanting to try her food for three years, and this was my second visit to the restaurant—my first visit was on a Sunday afternoon. They serve brunch until 3:00 PM, and dinner starts at 4:00 PM. The brunch menu was a bit smaller than the dinner menu, but everything was absolutely perfect. The waitress was very helpful, and the seating was comfortable. There are several TVs, which are great for enjoying the game. The food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was beautiful. It's getting colder outside, but they also have outdoor seating available for the summer months.
My husband and I really enjoyed this restaurant. It has a lovely atmosphere and offers a variety of vegetarian options. We haven't visited recently due to rising prices, but since it was cold and rainy, we decided to give it another try. The food was still quite good, but it was on the pricey side. The fries tasted like they had been reheated in the oven. We love this place, but we're concerned about the costs. Additionally, we noticed there’s a credit card fee, which is a bit disappointing. The kitchen also closed at 8:30, whereas we believe it should stay open until 10.
This is my second time coming to this restaurant and I would absolutely NOT recommend! The first time I came I was with a big party, so I thought they just didn?t know how to service a big party. The second time I came I was with a party of 3. I literally had to get up from my table to ask for utensils, and sugar for my coffee. My waitress was nonchalant and didn?t really care to service us (no apology for the lack of service)I asked for my eggs to be scrambled soft and they were burnt. Bernie wants to find a new place. When sitting, we noticed some flies near our table. Our waiter must have put us out, as it was a nice evening. The tables out there were a bit tacky, despite trying to balance them. Our appetizer was good. My Hubby ordered the chicken marsala. He said there was no taste. The waiter made it right with another selection. Overall, great ambience, but the food is met or miss.
