Bert's Cafe - Réserver une table

I found about this place from a blog. I visited Saturday morning for a brunch after returning from Emerald Bay. We had to wait 20 mins. This place has great variety of breakfast options. We tried California omelet which was full of veggies. The hash browns were perfect. The chicken torta was tasty and had soft chicken. The hot chocolate was super nice, not too sweet. I didn't like the blueberry crepes that much but my friends enjoyed it..! Service was good, they even replaced the potato salad with fries when we said we didn't like it.

The food here is super delicious. A small place worth waiting. Really nice staff here who are very helpful. You keep your coffee full, water full or your selection of drinks. I recommend skipping the IHOP or Denny base restaurant and giving the locals some love. Parking is limited, so note when you arrive. The staff is doing their best to get people in and out.

I don't want to leave Lake Tahoe so I can try everything on the map. Absolutely extraordinary staff and excellent food! My husband and I have been here for two weeks and finally experienced restaurant food as it should be. Thank you and keep the high standards!

Fantastic breakfast menu, pancakes were enormous and amazing the short stack was a lot! Also homemade cookies were great. Service was quick and friendly, it only took about 5 10 minutes to be prepared for my food!

Delicious breakfast, definitely worth waiting! My wife and I have the omelet and it was great. They don't skip the add-ins, it was good to have a little egg with our Omelettes. Lol
